Small scale extrusion

Small and compact extruder gear pump systems for low output to be used in our customer’s laboratory, pilot process evaluation, side feed extrusion or strip winding.

Our smallest available unit is the Planetruder® S with integrated gear pump. The process section of this unit weights only 45 kg and delivers an output between 20 to 25 kg/h (45 – 55 Lbs./hr.). The pump is directly driven by the screw.

Another machine typically used for small scale extrusion is Shark® 30. This machine features a 30 mm extruder in conjunction with a separately driven gear pump. Separate drives for the pump and the extruder makes this unit very flexible.

The Shark® 30 is able to deliver an output between 60 to 80 kg/h
(130 – 395 Lbs./hr.)
