Gear pump preformer

Combex systems consist of a single screw conveying extruder in conjunction with a gear pump.

The extruder is used to achieve effective plasticization of the compound and to ensure sufficient feed to the gear pump.

The volumetric operating gear pump delivers a very precise output of +/- 0.4%. This allows the Combex system to produce highly accurate rubber preforms with cutting provided by a fully integrated and servo driven knife.

The VMI-AZ Combex preformer are offered in different sizes according to customer output requirements and preform size:

Combex 45 – 50 to 60 kG/h (110 - 130 Lbs./hr.)

Combex 60 – 150 to 200 kG/h (330 - 440 Lbs./hr.)

Combex 90 – 500 to 600 kG/h (1,100 -1,300 Lbs./hr.)
